Write My Essay For Me

This particular assignment is to write an evaluation of your chosen test. You need to cover all questions in the rubric shown below. All papers must be typed (approximately 5-8 pages of text), double-spaced, 1 inch margins, and in APA style. A great free, online resource for learning the basics of APA formatting style is the Purdue Online Writing Lab (OWL)’s APA Formatting and Style Guide, https://owl.english.purdue.edu/owl/resource/560/01/

Here is what your test evaluation paper should include. It’s an abbreviated version of Appendix B: Guidelines for Critiquing a Psychological Test from your textbook (pp.489-490). Please see Appendix B for further explanation of these questions.

· What population was the test designed for?

· What is the nature of the test?

· What is the format of the test?

30
Practical Evaluation

Answers the following questions:

· If you have access to a test manual, is it comprehensive? (I assume that most of you will not have access to a test manual–that’s fine.)

· How easy or difficult is the test to administer?

· How clear are the administration directions?

· How clear are the scoring procedures?

· What qualifications and training, if any, does an administrator need to have?

· Does the test have face validity?

25

· What is the evidence for the validity of the test? How was validity determined?

· What is the standard error of measurement?

Note: If you’re having trouble locating an article for this section, go to  https://scholar.google.com (Links to an external site.) and search for the DOI of your test development article. The name of your article should appear. Then, if it has been cited by anyone else, you should be able to click “Cited by #” to see the articles that have cited it. If absolutely no other articles h

ave cited it, you can write about that in this section and provide your own test review.

25
Summary

Includes a one-two paragraph discussion of the strengths and weaknesses of the instrument cutting across all parts of this outline.  HINT: Think about whether or not you would use this test and refer back to previous portions of the paper (i.e., reliability, validity, etc.) to support your opinions about the test.

35
APA Formatting and Style

Follows APA guidelines for the entire paper, including general format, style, in-text citations, and the reference list. Paper contains fewer than 5% direct quotations. (Additional points may be deducted for plagiarism or egregious errors related to in-text and reference list citations.)

5
Spelling, Grammar, and Punctuation

Your paper should be free of egregious errors in spelling, grammar, and punctuation. I know that few papers are perfect, and I won’t count off for a single mistake, but you will definitely lose points here if I have trouble understanding what you wrote due to spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors. See the APA Publication Manual for guidelines on punctuation, spelling, capitalization, italics, abbreviations, numbers, metrication, statistical and mathematical copy, and equations. Also, just use good old common sense and what you learned in your high school English and grammar classes.

5
Tone, Language, and Flow

Your paper should be written using language appropriate for a college-level course. You will lose points for inappropriate abbreviations that you would not find in a textbook or scholarly article (for example: BTW, IMO). I should not be confused by your choice of language or paper organization. A good way to see if your words and sentences flow is to read your paper out loud to yourself. Another good way to check this section is to have someone else read your paper. Even someone with no knowledge of psychology should be able to tell you if your tone and language make sense and your paragraphs and ideas flow logically.
