Write My Essay For Me

For this assignment, you will be using JASP and a dataset to run frequencies and a crosstabulation. The dataset is entitled GSS2018_Demo.csv and can be downloaded by clicking here. Download here.Save the file in your Research II foler.

To download the JASP Statistics program, go to: https://jasp-stats.org/ (Links to an external site.)

This assignment will help prepare you to carry out Program-Level Evaluation Milestone 4 (Analysis of Agency Data). Instructions are below.

Frequencies
Frequency distributions tell us the number and percentage of the attributes of a variable. For example, for the variable Race, it might tell us the number and percentage of White, African American, and other groups. To run a frequency distribution using data from a dataset:

View the video and transcript on Frequencies with JASP under the Module 11 Readings and Resources.
Open JASP and then click on the three vertical bars on the top left to open a file. Search on your computer for the GSS2018_Demo.csv file.
Open the file.
Click on “Descriptives,
Choose “Sex” and move it to the “Variables” box by first highlighting it, then clicking on the right arrow.
Scroll down and click on the box that says,”Frequency Tables (nominal and ordinal variables)
To the right of that you will see the Results.
What is the number and percentage of male and female respondents? What is the total number of cases?
You can copy and paste your results into a Word doc.
Descriptives
Descriptives summarize interval and ratio level data by telling us things such as the mean and standard deviation of a variable such as age, income, or education. To run a descriptive from the dataset:

View the video and transcript on Descriptives with JASP under the Module 11 Readings and Resources.
Open JASP and then click on the three vertical bars on the top left to open a file. Search on your computer for the GSS2018_Demo.csv file.
Open the file.
Click on “Descriptives,
Choose “Age” and move it to the “Variables” box by clicking on the right arrow.
To the right of that you will see the Results.
What is the mean age of the respondents? What is the standard deviation?
You can copy and paste your results into a Word doc.
Crosstabulations
Crosstabulations are two (or more) frequency distributions combined. They tell us the differences in the distributions of two (or more) variables and whether the differences we see are statistically significant by performing a chi-square test. We will again be using the same dataset. To conduct the crosstab:

View the video and transcript on Chi-square with JASP under the Module 11 Readings and Resources.
Open JASP and then click on the three vertical bars on the top left to open a file. Search on your computer for the GSS2018_Demo.csv file.
Open the file.
Click on “Frequencies” at the top of the screen, then “Contingency Tables”
Choose “Emoprobs” for Rows by highlighting it and then moving it to the Rows box by clicking on the right arrow. “Emoprobs” is the variable name for the question, “In the past 7 days, how often have you been bothered by emotional problems?”
Choose “Sex” for the columns by highlighting it and then moving it to the Columns box by clicking on the right arrow.
Scroll down and click on “Statistics”. Make sure the chi-square box (x2) is checked
Scroll down and click on “Cells”. Under “Percentages” click “Column.
The results can be seen in the Results box to the right.
To view it full-screen, click on the left-facing arrow
What percentage of men compared to women say that they “Sometimes” or “Often” have been bothered by emotional problems in the last seven days?
What is the p-value? Is it statistically significant?
Copy and paste the results into a Word doc
Deliverables

Include your frequency table, descriptive table, and crosstab table. Briefly answer the following questions:

Number and frequency of males and females
Mean and standard deviation of participants age
Percentage of males vs females who “sometimes” or “often” had emotional problems in the last 7 days whether findings are statistically significant, and p-value.
