As an Introduction to Contemporary Business, it is important to obtain as much authentic and

Select a company that will be the focus of your Final Paper. You will be conducting research

Identify specific ways in which the company has been impacted by the economy over the years
and how the company has impacted the surrounding community, both positively and negatively.

Decision-Making Process
Explain two key business decisions the owner/manager must make in order to operate the
business. Identify the steps of how they arrive at (and evaluate) their decision. 10 Points
Human Resource Management
Research the employee turnover rate and research, why is the turnover rate at this level? Find out
ways the business is trying to improve employee retention. Give your own opinion on different
strategies and ways to improve employee turnover, employee retention and recruiting. 10 Points
Production Planning Strategy
Identify the production planning strategy the company uses or which production planning
strategy you feel would work best (explain in detail). 10 Points
SWOT Analysis
Create a SWOT Analysis of the chosen company. Describe why each identity was chosen with
