Topics: (All topics must be supported by research, the topics are from the Lean Business

Model Canvas)

Problem – top 1-3 problems – supported by facts/statistics

Solution – define a solution to each problem – your business idea

Key Metrics – define the key numbers that tell you how your business is doing

Unique Value Proposition – single clear compelling message that states why you are

different and worth paying attention to.

Unfair Advantage – what do you offer that is unique, your competitive advantage

Channels – define your path to customers ie: A retail shop? Online e-commerce site?

Customer Segments – define your ideal customers and users (researched and supported)

Cost Structure – fixed and variable ie: Retail store rent, utilities, salaries are fixed costs.

Variable costs are how much it costs to build/make your products.

Revenue Streams – this is how you make money! This can be through training hours,

selling direct products, accessories, in game sales, partnerships are some

examples. Consider how much your price is and how many you can sell. This

must be supported by research. Ie: For a 50 seat restaurant that sells $15 meals

and turns over 85% of the room every forty minutes and operates 9am to 2pm

daily, my revenue annually operating 312 days per year would be

(5×60)/40x(50x.85)x$15 =$4,781×312 = $1,491,672 revenue annually. Revenue

are only sales and do not take into account costs. If costs are subtracted from

revenue you have profit.

Cons – what are the cons with your business idea?

Mitigations – what are the solutions to your cons?

Roman, 12 point font. One-inch margins all around. The paper must be double-spaced.
