Thesis statement (main point for your speech): A global approach is necessary to ensure that all people have equitable access to vaccines and medical treatments to succeed in its severe effects on human health and the economy.

Although getting a vaccine is not something new for humans, this pandemic has shown the pharmacies’ interests and preferences of money over peoples’ health and safety.

B. Reason to Listen:

Every country has had a negative economic impact due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It is essential to secure that the world is prepared (Economically) for possible future pandemics.

C. Credibility Statement:

This problem is not about “vaccine shortage.” Pharmacies like Pfizer and Moderna can share their design globally with other pharmacies for covid vaccine massive production, thus, a faster re-open economy.

We are not overcoming the virus all together at the same time as it should be; the wealthiest countries go beyond others.

So far, the most prosperous nations have vaccinated at least more than 40% of their population with a single dose.

Vaccine inequity will prolong the pandemic. Meaning the Economy around the world will be affected.

A. In conclusion, Pharmacies’ interests and inclinations of money in this pandemic are more relevant than people’s health and the global economy in general. Our dilemma now is to expand access to vaccines and vaccine manufacturing capacity across the globe. We would vaccinate more people faster if the current Covid-19 vaccine by licensing out its vaccine technology with other pharmacies. We have not successfully controlled the virus unitedly as humans since the first vaccine was released a year ago.
