At the end of each WELL class, you have the opportunity to reflect on the individual learning and personal progress that you have made, and to revise and enhance your BOLD statement (essay) accordingly.

Taking the time for reflection can have a tremendous positive impact on your life. Reflection has the power to inspire deeper and more profound human growth and can play an influential role in helping people to move towards goals, and in making meaning of our life experiences.

First, reflect on your answers to the BOLD statement questions in your initial BOLD statement, and revise or enhance anything that you want to change (e.g. addressing new skills or milestones, etc.) If your instructor provided any constructive feedback in your Initial BOLD statement, please make those revisions.

BOLD Statement Questions:

To the degree that you are comfortable, use keywords and phrases to take stock of major points of pride, milestones, turning points and achievements in your life. Describe your passion, purpose, and potential!
To the degree that you are comfortable, please articulate why you have decided to come back to school and what you dream of accomplishing with your degree.
List your strengths, positive attributes, preferred working styles, and key personality traits. For this aspect of the Bold Statement, please review and reflect on your Leadership Development Plan; Predictive Index results, and other leadership assessments/course materials.

My grade to my initial bold statement was bad due to it not being (a personal) statement. The Professor left me this message that says :

“While this paper is well written, it is not your (personal) Bold Statement. The bold statement is an essay that answers the questions of who you are ( values and strengths), the goals yyou have for yourself ( particularly in this session ) challenges you foresee in obtaining your goals. (Maybe there are none ) and your expectations of this course based on the content.”

So hopefully this closing one comes out better
