In a world where a virus became public enemy number one, humanity collectively came together to battle it. Governments across the globe aided one another with funding, resources, and research to obtain feasible defense mechanisms in the battle against COVID-19. After nearly two years, the fight against the infamous coronavirus has been steadied by development of vaccines and other remedies that are readily attainable for all. In a state of affairs where enemies become allies for the greater good of humanity, many countries turn a blind eye to free and accessible healthcare. The battle between finances, politics, and monopolies continues to affect millions in the west and across the globe in developing a healthcare system for all.

As a human right, we should be accessible to healthcare

Article 12 goes on to require that “states must protect this right by ensuring that everyone within their jurisdiction has access to the underlying determinants of health, such as clean water, sanitation, food, nutrition, and housing, and through a comprehensive system of health care, which is available to everyone without discrimination, and economically accessible to all.” This treaty was signed by all UN countries.

The content of your essay should be substantial, well researched, and interesting. Try to know as much as you can about your topic so that you may present an in-depth analysis that persuades your reader to accept your claim.

IMPORTANT! Keep the following in mind as you compose your essay:
Don’t rely on one source; try distributing all of your sources throughout the essay.
This is a research project, not a rant, or an exploration of your personal feelings. Make a claim and support it with good reasons and evidence.
Avoid a string of quotations/paraphrases; the majority of your essay should be your own words.
