You will select 5 objects and write
a catalog essay introducing the exhibition, the works in the show, and the
larger historical and social field in which the exhibition engages. This final
project will require you to think beyond formal or factual information about
works of art. It will allow you to think conceptually and develop a unified
thesis through a variety of written components. The exhibition can be for a
gallery in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, or another venue of your choice.
