IT Strategy Study Questions

Learning Goal: I’m working on a business project and need support to help me learn.

Develop the theory, research model, and research design for a study in IT Strategy. This residency activity is based on their readings and weekly work in MIS Quarterly. Each week students need to review articles from MISQ in order to develop a reference list to use for the residency project.

Your group will need to:

Decide what IT Strategy you want to research
Find an IT/IS theory that supports your strategy
Develop a research model that fits the theory
Design a research study (i.e. a survey, experimental study, qualitative study), etc. to test your model

The Research paper will be written using the APA style with at least 15 works which must be peer-reviewed) and contain approximately 8-12 pages (this does not include the title page, abstract, references, appendix). Use and research the APA style and bring your laptop to the Residency weekend to do your research and complete the Research paper with your group.

Be sure to submit either a MS Word document (.doc or .docx) or an Adobe PDF (.pdf) document. Attached you will find an APA template. Failure to submit your paper in APA format will result in 0pts (there will be no extended opportunities to resubmit papers due to failure for not using APA).
